He Gadget: It doesn't very intimidating. I'm not sure it's going to scare anyone off. But it could be something fun for the office.

She Gadget: Oh, yeah I could use it to let me know when someone comes into my office because it's so big and I sit with my back to the door.

He Gadget: No need to rub in the fact that my office is a 6 by 6 space in a cubicle farm. I think I could find some use for this.

She Gadget: Honey, since you don't have all the nice warming features that my car has like heated seats and steering wheel, and since you're such a California boy and can't handle the cold you should have a remote car starter. But I hear one of the problems with remote starters is you have to be fairly close to the car, which seems to me kind of defeats the purpose. I mean if your in your office and have to walk out to remote start our car what's the point.

He Gadget: Right, and your point is.....

She Gadget: I found a remote starter that works up to a mile away and not only that it's also a car alarm and the car will send you information to the remote, like the temperature inside the car, so you can decide if you need to warm it up, or cool it down.

He Gadget: Actually that's perfect, not only does it solve the distance problem but it tells you if you even need to start car ahead of time. It's ingenious.

She Gadget: Good, so you'll like it.

Wet Suit Dryer

He Gadget: I'm not sure if this is a gadget a guy can give. It's a hangar with a fan on it to help dry clothes faster. So you know how some things you don't put in the dryer because you don't want them to shrink, or fade, or if you have to wash somthing off cycle to wear to go somewhere? Well this is supposed to reduce drying time of things you hang up by 70%. What do you think?

She Gadget: Um, it's a great idea for some things but I don't dry many things on a hangar because it creates bumps in the shoulders. Although this one doesn't look like it would cause that because it's a wide hangar. I would probably use it for heavier things that take longer to dry.

He Gadget: But is just one enough or would you need more? Or would you just have one and use it for times when you wash off cycle and need it dry without putting it in the dryer?

She Gadget: I would probably start with one and see if I liked it before buying more.

He Gadget: But is it a gift?

She Gadget: No, it's almost like giving an appliance for a gift.

He Gadget: Yeah, that's what I was afraid of.

The Ultimate Remote Control

He Gadget: Well this remote doesn't actually exist, of course, but it's pretty funny I just couldn't resist. And just think how great it would be to have a woman's version, she just presses a button to tell me what to do or say. Of course, then she'll say, I don't want to have to tell you what to do or say because then it doesn't mean anything.

Memory Pen

She Gadget: Well tomorrow is Christmas and my husband is getting one of these. I don't think he'll be reading this post before tomorrow morning so I should be safe enough sharing it with you now.

My husband is an avid reader and when he reads business related books he highlights some parts with a highlighter and then types those highlights into some notes he keeps. Don't ask me what he does with all those notes. He Gadget: This is a new gadget that I think might make a good gift for a girl. It's called a Suntimer. You can put in your skin type and sunscreen spf number and the timer will monitor how much time you are in the sun and let you know when you should get out of the sun.

She Gadget: That sounds great. As I get older I'm more self councious about being in the sun even though I don't burn very easy. Women are much more concerned about skin cancer these days.

He Gadget: Could it be a gift?

She Gadget: Yes. It's a I want to you to be safe and healthy gift.

He Gadget: Guys if your girl likes to tan this can be a good gift for her. I wasn't able to find it available on a US site but you can order online via the Minox web site.

Light Up Tweezers

He Gadget: What about these? I'm not sure a guy can give these as a gift without getting himself in hot water.

She Gadget: Yeah, it's kind of like me giving you a nose hair trimmer. Would you want that as a gift?

He Gadget: Not as a surprise gift, we should talk about it first so I know it's coming. Nose hair trimmers are really something you need to agree to needing before you get them as a gift. So what about eyebrow tweezers?

She Gadget: I agree, they fall in the same category.

He Gadget: They're unique. What occasions are they good for?

She Gadget: Candles are good for any occasion but these would be better for winter occasions like Christmas and Valentine's Day, or if her Birthday is in the winter, or your Anniversary.

He Gadget: Anniversary too?

She Gadget: Yeah, if it's in the winter. Candles are always romantic.

He Gadget: Sounds like you can give these for any occassion guys. I would suggest that if you are giving for an Anniversary gift that you give them already frozen and lighted, say at a nice dinner you make her or surrounding a new piece of Jewelry.
