If your house is anything like mine, you have certain rooms that are cooler than others in the winter and you just can figure out why. This is a great gadget to help you figure it out. Aim it around the windows and doors and even check out your walls to see if there are areas where the insulation is not sufficient. You can also check the air temperature coming out of your heating vents. Is it warmer in some areas of the house than another?
It is also great for checking the temperature of your grill, checking how hot your car engine is running or the air temperature coming out of your car vent.
